The Volunteer Centre Rotherham promotes volunteering across the borough and advises hundreds of people each year who wish to find about volunteering opportunities and refers them to volunteer involving organisations in and around Rotherham.

We have a choice of over 300 different voluntary opportunities with a wide variety of organisations and groups. We can help you to think about the sorts of things you may want to do according to your own circumstances, areas of interest or skills. Contact us on 01709 834464 or drop in to the Spectrum. You can email us on Alternatively you may wish to take a look at

The Volunteers Centre offers support and information to groups and organisations working with or thinking about involving volunteers. This support enables us to raise awareness of good practice around volunteer management and raise the profile of volunteering locally.

We work in partnership with statutory, voluntary, community and faith sectors to develop volunteer opportunities. We support organisations to attain minimum quality standards in relation to managing volunteers through our Managers Forum, training packages and Good Practice Guides.

Alternatively you may wish to log on to where you will be able to access information directly from Volunteering England.
